Displaying or Entering System Information Displaying System Information-The following information can be displayed using the Compaq Computer Security icon in the system tray: s Computer serial number, asset tag, and ownership tag s Battery pack serial number and asset tag s Processor serial number s Docking station serial number and asset tag (if computer is docked) To display information: Click StartÅSettingsÅControl Panel, double-click the Compaq Computer Security icon, click the Information tab. Select the device for the information you want to see. or Right-click the Compaq Computer Security icon in the system tray, click Security PropertiesÅInformation tab. Select the device for the information you want to see. Entering Asset and Ownership Tags-You can enter a system and docking station (if computer is docked) ownership and asset tag and a battery pack asset tag.
