interfaceShow 2 interfaceShow Displays FSPF interface information. Synopsis interfaceshow [slotnumber/][portnumber] Description Use this command to display the two data structures associated with FSPF interfaces (E_Ports) on the switch: The permanently allocated Interface Descriptor Block (IDB). The neighbor data structure. This data structure is allocated when a switch port becomes an E_Port. The neighbor data structure contains all the information relating to the switch that is connected to an adjacent switch. This command displays the content of both data structures, if they have been allocated. The following fields are displayed: idbP Pointer to IDB. nghbP Pointer to neighbor data structure. ifNo Interface number. masterPort Port number of the trunk master port, if present, of the trunk group of which this port is a part. defaultCost Default cost of sending a frame over the ISL connection to this interface. cost Cost of sending a frame over the ISL connected to this interface. A value of 1000 indicates a 1-Gb/sec link. A value of 500 indicates a 2-Gb/sec link. delay Conventional delay incurred by a frame transmitted on this ISL. A fixed value required by the FSPF protocol. lastScn Type of the last State Change Notification received on this interface. lastScnTime Time the last State Change Notification was received on this interface. upCount Number of times this interface came up, with respect to FSPF. lastUpTime Last time this interface came up. downCount Number of times this interface went down. lastDownTime Last time this interface went down. downReason Type of last State Change Notification that caused this interface to go down. iState Current state of this interface. The state can be UP or DOWN. An interface in DOWN state does not have an allocated neighbor data structure and cannot be used to route traffic to other switches. state Current state of this interface. This E_Port is used to route traffic to other switches only if the state is NB_ST_FULL. nghbCap Neighbor capabilities. Should be 0. nghbId Domain ID of the neighbor (adjacent) switch. idbNo IDB number. Should be equal to port_number. remPort Port number on the remote switch connected to this port.
