portCfg 2 portCfg Enables or disables a port's configuration. Synopsis portcfg action [slot/][ge]port [-Range] args Description Use this command to configure the gigabit Ethernet (GbE) port, address resolution protocol (ARP) entries, IP interfaces on the gigabit Ethernet (GbE) port, static routes on the IP interface, FCIP tunnels, mirror port, and registered state change notification (RSCN) suppression, and to configure FC fastwrite on the FC ports. You can configure up to a maximum of 8 FCIP tunnels per GbE. RSCN suppression is configurable for both FC and GbE ports; however, configuration options are dependent on the protocol. The execution of this command is subject to Admin Domain restrictions that may be in place. Range A range of ports in the same slot Actions This command supports the following actions: arp -- Address resolution protocol (ARP) entry. Usage: portcfg arp [slot/][ge]port options args. Valid options and args for arp include: add ipaddr macaddr Adds static ARP entries. delete ipaddr Deletes static ARP entries. flush Flushes the ARP table. Only dynamic entries can be flushed, static entries will not be cleared. fciptunnel -- Create FCIP tunnels. Usage: portcfg fciptunnel [slot/][ge]port options args [optional_args]. Valid options, and args for fciptunnel include: create tunnel_id remote_ipaddr local_ipaddr comm_rate Creates FCIP tunnels. Option specific [optional_args] for create: -c compression Enable compression on the tunnel specified. By default, compression is off. -f fastwrite Enables fastwrite on the tunnel specified. -ike policy Specifies the IKE policy number to be used on the tunnel specified. This argument must be used together with -ipsec and -key. -ipsec policy Specifies the IPSec policy number to be used on the tunnel specified. This argument must be used together with -ike and -key. -k timeout Specifies the keep alive timeout, in seconds. timeout values are 8 to 7,200; default is 10.
