Wi-Fi Direct Settings Wi-Fi Direct allows device-to-device connections so you can transfer large amounts of data over a Wi-Fi connection. Note: See your service plan for applicable charges for Wi-Fi Direct. 1. From a Home screen, touch Apps ➔ Settings ➔ Wireless and network ➔ Wi-Fi Direct settings. 2. If you are currently connected to a Wi-Fi network, a prompt will display Current network will be disconnected. Tap OK to continue. 3. Tap Wi-Fi Direct. A check mark is displayed indicating that Wi-Fi Direct is active. 4. Tap Device name to change your Device name if desired. 5. The status of you Wi-Fi Direct connection is displayed in the Status field. 6. Touch Disconnect Wi-Fi Direct to disconnect. 7. Turning Bluetooth On or Off Turn your device's Bluetooth service On or Off. For more information about using Bluetooth to exchange information with other Bluetooth devices, see "Bluetooth" on page 88. 1. From a Home screen, touch Apps ➔ Settings ➔ Wireless and networks. 2. Touch Bluetooth to turn Bluetooth On or Off. When On, a check appears in the checkbox. Additional Bluetooth Settings When Bluetooth is on, additional settings are available. 1. Touch a setting to configure Bluetooth: Device settings • Bluetooth: Checkbox indicates if Bluetooth is on. • Device Name: Your device's default name appears on screen. Touch to change the device name. Available when Bluetooth is turned On.

Wi-Fi Direct Settings
Wi-Fi Direct allows device-to-device connections so you can
transfer large amounts of data over a Wi-Fi connection.
Note:
See your service plan for applicable charges for Wi-Fi Direct.

From a Home screen, touch

If you are currently connected to a Wi-Fi network, a prompt

Disconnect Wi-Fi Direct
to disconnect.

Bluetooth Settings
Use Bluetooth settings to manage Bluetooth connections, set
your device’s name, and control your device’s visibility.
Turning Bluetooth On or Off
Turn your device’s Bluetooth service On or Off. For more
information about using Bluetooth to exchange information with
other Bluetooth devices, see
“Bluetooth”
on page 88.
