ProSafe M5300 Switch Static MAC Address Use this page to add and remove the MAC addresses of hosts that are allowed to send traffic to specific interfaces on the device. The number of MAC addresses you can associate with each interface is determined by the maximum static MAC addresses allowed on a given interface. To display the Static MAC Address page, click Security Traffic Control> Port Security Static MAC Address. To configure static MAC address-to-interface associations: 1. When adding a static MAC address entry, use the Interface menu to select the interface to associate with the permitted MAC address.Interface - Select the physical interface for which you want to display data. 2. Static MAC Address - Accepts user input for the MAC address to be deleted. 3. Use VLAN ID to select the VLAN ID corresponding to the MAC address being added. 4. Click ADD to add a new static MAC address to the switch. 5. Click DELETE to delete a existing static MAC address from the switch. Managing Device Security 403
