Advanced Settings 6 Scan to E-mail The Advanced Settings tab allows you to temporarily manipulate the scan template to enhance the appearance and style of your scanned e-mail image. Image Options Use this feature to enhance the quality of your scanned originals. Lighten / Darken Adjusts the lightness or darkness of the output. To darken the output, press the scroll down button. To lighten the output, press the scroll up button. Background This option automatically reduces or eliminates the dark background resulting Suppression from colored paper or newspaper originals.
