Ethernet Configuration Commands interface ethernet The interface ethernet Global Configuration mode command enters the interface configuration mode to configure an Ethernet type interface. Syntax interface ethernet interface • interface-Valid Ethernet port. Default Configuration This command has no default configuration. Command Mode Global Configuration mode User Guidelines • There are no user guidelines for this command. Example The following example enables ports g8 for configuration. Console(config)# interface ethernet g8 Console(config-if)# interface range ethernet The interface range ethernet Global Configuration mode command enters the interface configuration mode to configure multiple Ethernet type interfaces. Syntax interface range ethernet {port-range | all} • port-range-List of valid ports to add. Separate non consecutive ports with a comma and no spaces; a hyphen is used to designate a range of ports. • all-All Ethernet ports. Default Configuration This command has no default configuration.
