Command Mode User EXEC mode User Guidelines • There are no user guidelines for this command. Example In the following example, the counters for interface g1 are cleared. Console# clear counters ethernet g1 set interface active The set interface active Privileged EXEC mode command reactivates an interface that was suspended by the system. Syntax set interface active {ethernet interface | port-channel port-channel-number} • interface-Valid Ethernet port. • port-channel-number-Valid port-channel trunk index. Default Configuration This command has no default configuration. Command Mode Privilege EXEC mode User Guidelines • This command is used to activate interfaces that were configured to be active, but were shutdown for some reason. Example The following example activates interface g5, which is disabled. Console# set interface active ethernet g5 show interfaces configuration The show interfaces configuration Privilege EXEC mode command displays the configuration for all configured interfaces.
