Command Mode Global Configuration mode User Guidelines • Multiple keys can be generated. Examples The following example defines the authentication key for SNTP. Console(config)# sntp authentication-key 8 md5 ClkKey Console(config)# sntp trusted-key 8 Console(config)# sntp authenticate sntp authenticate The sntp authenticate Global Configuration mode command grants authentication for received Network Time Protocol (NTP) traffic from servers. To disable the feature, use the no form of this command. Syntax sntp authenticate no sntp authenticate This command has no arguments or keywords.
