Default Configuration The following table describes the default map. Example The following example maps DSCP values 33, 40 and 41 to queue 1. Console (config)# qos map dscp-queue 33 40 41 to 1 qos trust (Global) The qos trust Global Configuration mode command can be used to configure the system to "trust" state. To return to the default state, use the no form of this command. Syntax qos trust {cos | dscp} no qos trust • cos-Classifies ingress packets with the packet CoS values. For untagged packets, the port default CoS is used. • dscp-Classifies ingress packets with the packet DSCP values. Default Configuration CoS is the default trust mode. Command Mode Global Configuration mode User Guidelines • Packets entering a quality of service (QoS) domain are classified at the edge of the QoS domain. When the packets are classified at the edge, the switch port within the QoS domain can be configured to one of the trusted states because there is no need to classify the packets at every switch within the domain.
