Examples The following example sets the time for the retransmission of an EAP-request frame to the client, to 3600 seconds. console config-if(Config-VLAN)# dot1x timeout supp-timeout 3600 dot1x timeout server-timeout The dot1x timeout server-timeout Interface Configuration mode command sets the time for the retransmission of packets to the authentication server. Use the no form of this command to return to the default setting. Syntax dot1x timeout server-timeout seconds no dot1x timeout server-timeout • seconds-Time in seconds that the switch should wait for a response from the authentication server before resending the request.
