All times are relative to the local time zone. The start time is relative to standard time. The end time is relative to summer time. If the starting month is chronologically after the ending month, the system assumes that you are in the southern hemisphere. • USA rule for daylight saving time: • Start: First Sunday in April • End: Last Sunday in October • Time: 2 am local time • EU rule for daylight saving time: • Start: Last Sunday in March • End: Last Sunday in October • Time: 1.00 am (01:00) Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) Examples The following example sets summer time starting on the first Sunday in April at 2am and finishing on the last Sunday in October at 2 am.
