Example The following example sets the authentication and encryption key for all RADIUS communications between the device and the RADIUS daemon to "dell-server". Console (config)# radius-server key dell-server radius-server retransmit The radius-server retransmit Global Configuration mode command specifies the number of times the software searches the list of RADIUS server hosts. To reset the default configuration, use the no form of this command. Syntax radius-server retransmit retries no radius-server retransmit • retries-Specifies the retransmit value. (Range: 1 - 10) Default Configuration The default is 3 attempts. Command Mode Global Configuration mode User Guidelines • There are no user guidelines for this command. Example The following example configures the number of times the software searches the list of RADIUS server hosts to 5 attempts. Console (config)# radius-server retransmit 5 radius-server source-ip The radius-server source-ip Global Configuration mode command specifies the source IP address used for communication with RADIUS servers.
