Clock clock set The clock set Privileged EXEC mode command manually sets the system clock. Syntax clock set hh:mm:ss day month year or clock set hh:mm:ss month day year • hh:mm:ss-Current time in hours (military format), minutes, and seconds (0 - 23, mm: 0 - 59, ss: 0 - 59). • day-Current day (by date) in the month (1 - 31). • month-Current month using the first three letters by name (Jan, ..., Dec). • year-Current year (2000 - 2097). Default Configuration The default time set is 0:0:0:0 Jan 1 2000 or xxxxx Month Day Year. Command Mode Privileged EXEC mode User Guidelines • There are no user guidelines for this command. Example The following example sets the system time to 13:32:00 on the 7th March 2002.
