Default Configuration Flow Control is off. Command Mode Interface configuration (Ethernet, port-channel) mode User Guidelines • Flow Control will operate only if duplex mode is set to FULL. Back Pressure will operate only if duplex mode is set to HALF. • When Flow Control is ON, the head-of-line-blocking mechanism of this port is disabled. • If a link is set to NOT use auto-negotiation, the other side of the link must also be configured to not use auto-negotiation. • To select auto, ensure negotiation for Flow Control is enabled. Example In the following example, Flow Control is enabled on g5.
