Voice Dial does not require you to pre-record the voice commands. For best results, use the headset provided with your hp Jornada 920 series wireless digital assistant while using Fonix Voice Dial. To launch Fonix Voice Dial • Press and release the record button. -or- Press and hold the Send button. You can change the button used to launch Fonix Voice Dial. For more information, see "configuring hardware buttons" in chapter 4. Fonix Voice Dial launches in listening mode. While in listening mode, Fonix Voice Dial monitors sounds for detectable speech, waiting for you to speak a command. The available voice commands are listed on the Voice Dial screen.

using fonix voice dial
Fonix Voice Dial is a voice-activated interface that enables you to use your
voice to access contacts and dial the phone. Voice Dial does not require
you to pre-record the voice commands.
For best results, use the headset provided with your hp Jornada 920 series
wireless digital assistant while using Fonix Voice Dial.
To launch Fonix Voice Dial

Press and release the record button.
