Security Settings VPN Connection Configuration Use Data encryption Default: Checked Data that is sent between the VPN client and VPN server across a shared or public network must be encrypted in order to prevent unauthorized interception. The VPN server may be configured to force data encryption, in which case the VPN client must be configured to encrypt data otherwise the connection will not be allowed.
