Microsoft Internet Explorer Connection Configuration 4 If you want Internet Explorer to load a specific web page when it is started, enter the URL in the Start field. If you leave this field blank, the current home page will be loaded. 5 Click Next to continue. 6 When you have finished configuring the Internet Explorer connection, click Finish. The Configure and/or Connection tabs of the Connection Manager will display the name of the connection you have created. If you are displaying the Windows CE desktop, an icon for the new connection will be displayed on the desktop, and the connection name will be listed for selection from the taskbar Start menu by selecting the Connections item.
