ICA Connection Configuration You can select the broadcast protocol to use from the list box at the bottom of the dialog. Choose from TCP browser, TCP + HTTP browser (default), or SSL/TLS + HTTPS browser. Select TCP + HTTP browser ifyour firewall restricts UDP broadcasts. This option enables the client to retrieve a list of all Citrix servers on the network, and a list of all published applications from a Ctrix server that is behind a firewall. Using this setting requires the user to specify the server address and the port to use when you click Add. Select SSL/TLS + HTTPS browser when using the ICA Client over the Internet or through a firewall or proxy server. The client will use the HTTPS protocol to search for a list of MetaFrame XP Presentation Servers. The client communicates with the MetaFrame XP Presentation Server using ICA with SSL/TLS.
