Chapter 5 Commands IOPn.Ethernetx Show Port Counters This command displays the Ethernet Provider counters for the specified Ethernet adapter. Command IOPn.Ethernet Show Port Counters Console Syntax MTCCONS IOPn.ETHERNET Show Port Counters -V Variables n - the ID number of the IOP (1 or 2) x - the ID number of the Ethernet adapter Results Table 5-13 Ethernet Port Counters Value Ethernet Packets Transmitted Ethernet Packets Received Runt Packets Received Invalid Packets Received Meaning Number of Ethernet packets transmitted on behalf of the network software running on the CEs Number of Ethernet packets received and forwarded to the networking software executing on the CEs Number of runt Ethernet packets received. Runt packets are packets with an Ethernet header that is less than 14 bytes. Number of invalid Ethernet packets received. Invalid packets are packets with data length greater than 1500 bytes. 115
