Boot the IOP in Offline Endurance I/O Processor Mode. Access the Network Control Panel to verify that the network bindings are properly configured. If you replaced this adapter because it was faulted, issue an Endurance Manager IOPx.Ethernet Enable command. Reboot the IOP in Operational Endurance I/O Processor Mode. If this requires that you boot Windows NT, boot the IOP in Offline Endurance I/O Processor Mode. If you are not sure of the configuration settings to use for this adapter, use the redundant adapter (in the other IOP) as a reference. Table 9-2 describes common conventions and considerations for configuring a replacement adapter. • If the replacement adapter is identical to the adapter that was removed, you need not change the bindings. • If you installed a new NIC driver, the bindings will not be correct. • If you are unsure about how the bindings should be configured, refer to the HP NetServer AA Installation Guide or compare the bindings with the redundant adapter on the other IOP. 229
