The document jammed. The document is not appropriate for the machine. The document guides are not correctly adjusted. There is a piece of paper inside the ADF. The rollers in the ADF are not clean. The machine is inclined. The paper is too light or too heavy. The paper is moist or has a static charge. The paper is wrinkled, folded or curled. Something is already printed on the back side of the paper. The edges of the paper are not kept even. There is only one sheet of paper in the tray. You have added new paper onto the paper already loaded in the tray. The paper is loaded at an angle. Envelopes are not correctly loaded. Paper, envelopes or labels whose weight is between 123 and 163 g/m2 (33 and 43 lb) is loaded on the tray 1 and tray 2. Remove the jammed document and re-load it. Use an appropriate document. Adjust the document guides to the document. Open the document cover and remove any paper. Clean the rollers in the ADF. Place the machine on a flat surface. Use the appropriate paper for the machine. Use paper stored under proper temperature and humidity conditions. Use appropriate paper for the machine. Fix the re-flexed paper. You cannot use paper that has been printed on for tray 1 and tray 2. Load it in the MP tray or Manual Feeder for printing. Fan the paper and even up the edges. Load several sheets of paper. Remove the already loaded paper, stack it onto the new paper, even up the edges and load the paper with the old paper on top. For tray 1 and tray 2, adjust the paper width guide and stopper to the paper. For the MP tray or Manual Feeder, adjust the paper width guide to the paper. Load envelopes correctly. Load the paper, envelopes or labels whose weight is between 123 and 163 g/m2 (33 and 43 lb) in the MP tray (MB451/MB451w/MB471/ MB471w/MB491/MB491+/ MB491+LP/ES4191 MFP/ MPS4200mb/MPS4700mb) or Manual Feeder (MB441/MB461/ MB461+LP/ES4161 MFP).
