Problems and Solutions I LPT1: write error appears on the screen If an error occurs when the print job is sent to parallel port LPT1, you will see a message similar to this: Check the interface cable connections Check the interface cable connections at both the computer and the printer. Check the printer spooling setting The printer spooling might not be operating properly. Discontinue printer spooling and try printing again by sending the print data directly to the printer. Turning off print spooling 1 Click Start, point to Settings, and click Printers. 2 Right-click Canon BJC-85 and select Properties. 3 Select the Details tab. 4 Click the Spool Settings button. LPT1: write error appears on the screen
If an error occurs when the print job is sent to parallel port LPT1, you will see a message
similar to this:
Check the interface cable connections
Check the interface cable connections at both the computer and the printer.
Check the printer spooling setting
The printer spooling might not be operating properly. Discontinue printer spooling and try
printing again by sending the print data directly to the printer.
Turning off print spooling

Click Start, point to Settings, and click Printers.

Right-click Canon BJC-85 and select Properties.
