Calling Party Transformations Settings Calling Party Transformations Settings Table 72: Edit Calling Party Transformations Settings Field Description Copy from Connection Select the PSTN connection from the drop-down list and click Load to load the calling party transformation. The details of the selected PSTN connection appear under the respective fields. Click Reset to remove the connection from which the calling party transformation is selected. Click Load again to load the calling party transformation from the PSTN connection with the updated changes during the interim. The transformation pattern appears in the Dial Plan Patterns area. Note If there are no other sites configured in the system, the option to load a connection will not be available. Inbound Calling Number In the text box, enter a digit pattern for the calling number. Cisco Business Edition 3000 checks the digits in the calling number against each of the Inbound Calling Number patterns, beginning with the top pattern, until a match is found. If the calling number matches the Inbound Calling Number pattern, Cisco Business Edition 3000 applies the subsequent digit transformations in the Remove First Digits and Prefix with Digits fields against the calling number before forwarding the call. If the calling number does not match any of the Inbound Calling Number patterns, Cisco Business Edition 3000 forwards the call without applying a calling party transformation. Remove First Digits From the drop-down list, select the number of first digits to be removed from the calling party number. Prefix With Digits Displayed on Phone OK Cancel Enter prefix digits in the Prefix Digits (Outgoing Calls) field. Valid entries for the NANP include the digits 0 through 9; the wildcard characters asterisk (*) and octothorpe (#); the international escape character +; and blank.
