Setting Long Delay Add Ringing Time Set. Description Long delay consists of the following: • Ring Delay (sec) • Answer Delay (sec) • Ring Duration (sec) Click Edit to change the configuration settings. Click Delete to remove the ring timing set. You can delete Long delay timing only if the Long delay is not in use. The default value for answer delay is 3.5 seconds and ring duration is 30 seconds. Note If Long Delay is not in use, and if you click delete, a window appears to confirm delete. If the Long delay is in use and if you click delete, the system prompts "The ring timing set 'Long Delay' cannot be deleted because it is configured for the users listed below. The Reach Me Anywhere settings for these users must be switched to a different ring timing set before this one can be deleted." You can add a new customized timing set. The following table describes the fields for Add Ringing Time Settings. Table 74: Settings on Add Ringing Time Field Name Ring Delay (sec) Answer Delay (Sec) Description Name of the profile (Short Delay, Moderate Delay, Long Delay). Note Name field is mandatory. The time to wait before ringing alternate number. The value ranges from 1 to 30 seconds. Note You can increment the value by 1 second. Time to wait before allowing connection to alternate number. Used to avoid immediate forwarding or voicemail pickup from alternate number. The value ranges from 0 to 10. Note You can increment the value by 0.5 seconds.
