Configure Remote Site Field Basic Site Information Name Description Time Zone Local Area Codes Local Mobile Phone Prefixes Internal Networks Description Enter the name of your Remote Site. Enter a description for your Remote Site. From the drop-down list box, select the time zone for the site. Enter the local area code for your Central Site. You can enter multiple area codes separated by commas (,). The number should have a minimum of two digits and can have a maximum of four. Note If the country pack installed on your system or the dialing configuration for your site does not support multiple area code, enter only one area code. If the country pack installed on your system or the dialing configuration for your site supports multiple area codes, prefix the appropriate area code while dialing a local call. Area codes should have a length that is valid in your country where you will setup the Cisco Business Edition 3000. Note If you change the area code, update the configuration settings for Block Rules, Abbreviated Dial Rules, and Custom Route Patterns configured for your site. Also ensure to update the Digit Discard Instructions and Calling Party Transformations defined for PSTN connection, if the management of these settings is set to Manual. Enter the local mobile phone prefixes for the central site. You can enter multiple local mobile phone prefixes separated by commas (,). The local mobile phone prefix for a site consists of the first few digits of the mobile phone number, and it uniquely determines the service provider and the local zone or region of the site where the call is considered local. Local mobile phone prefix must have a length that is valid in the country where you will set up the Cisco Business Edition 3000. For example, in India, you must enter the first four digits of the mobile phone numbers as the local mobile phone prefix. In China, you must enter the first seven digits of the mobile phone numbers as the local mobile phone prefix.
