The SNMP Setup form is used to configure the system's SNMP server and enable SNMP access. To enable SNMP access, one of the available modes must be selected. Version 2c, version 3, or both versions may be enabled. The System Contact and System Location parameters are basic SNMP "system" MIB parameters that are frequently used to identify network equipment. See "Supported MIBs" in this chapter for a list of supported MIBs. To restrict access to the SNMP server, a list of IP address and networks may be provided from which SNMP access will be permitted. Network addresses may be specified using either a network prefix length (for example, 1.2.3.4/24) or a network mask (for example, 1.2.3.4/255.255.255.0). If the Allowed Access field is left blank, all IP addresses will be able to perform SNMP queries. Deployment Guide

The

SNMP Setup

form is used to configure the system’s SNMP server and enable SNMP access.

To enable SNMP access, one of the available modes must be selected. Version 2c, version 3, or both

versions may be enabled.
