Chapter 2 Catalyst 3560 Switch Cisco IOS Commands show arp access-list show arp access-list Use the show arp access-list user EXEC command to display detailed information about Address Resolution Protocol (ARP) access control (lists). show arp access-list [acl-name] [ | {begin | exclude | include} expression] This command is available only if your switch is running the IP services image, formerly known as the enhanced multilayer image (EMI). Syntax Description acl-name | begin | exclude | include expression (Optional) Name of the ACL. (Optional) Display begins with the line that matches the expression. (Optional) Display excludes lines that match the expression. (Optional) Display includes lines that match the specified expression. Expression in the output to use as a reference point. Command Modes User EXEC Command History Release 12.2(20)SE Modification This command was introduced. Usage Guidelines Expressions are case sensitive. For example, if you enter | exclude output, the lines that contain output are not displayed, but the lines that contain Output are displayed. Examples This is an example of output from the show arp access-list command: Switch> show arp access-list ARP access list rose permit ip 10.101.1.1 0.0.0.255 mac any permit ip 20.3.1.0 0.0.0.255 mac any Related Commands Command arp access-list deny (ARP access-list configuration) ip arp inspection filter vlan permit (ARP access-list configuration) Description Defines an ARP ACL. Denies an ARP packet based on matches against the Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) bindings. Permits ARP requests and responses from a host configured with a static IP address.
