show dot1x Chapter 2 Catalyst 3560 Switch Cisco IOS Commands show dot1x Use the show dot1x privileged EXEC command to display IEEE 802.1x statistics, administrative status, and operational status for the switch or for the specified port. show dot1x [all | interface interface-id | statistics interface interface-id] [ | {begin | exclude | include} expression] Syntax Description all interface interface-id statistics interface interface-id | begin | exclude | include expression (Optional) Display the IEEE 802.1x status for all ports. (Optional) Display the IEEE 802.1x status for the specified port (including type, module, and port number). (Optional) Display IEEE 802.1x statistics for the specified port (including type, module, and port number). (Optional) Display begins with the line that matches the expression. (Optional) Display excludes lines that match the expression. (Optional) Display includes lines that match the specified expression. Expression in the output to use as a reference point. Command Modes Privileged EXEC Command History Release 12.2(25)SED 12.1(19)EA1 Modification The display was expanded to include auth-fail-vlan in the authorization state machine state and port status fields. This command was introduced. Usage Guidelines If you do not specify a port, global parameters and a summary appear. If you specify a port, details for that port appear. Expressions are case sensitive. For example, if you enter | exclude output, the lines that contain output are not displayed, but the lines that contain Output appear.
