show ip igmp snooping groups Chapter 2 Catalyst 3560 Switch Cisco IOS Commands show ip igmp snooping groups Use the show ip igmp snooping groups privileged EXEC command to display the Internet Group Management Protocol (IGMP) snooping multicast table for the switch or the multicast information. Use with the vlan keyword to display the multicast table for a specified multicast VLAN or specific multicast information. show ip igmp snooping groups [count | dynamic [count] | user [count]] [ | {begin | exclude | include} expression] show ip igmp snooping groups vlan vlan-id [ip_address | count | dynamic [count] | user [count]] [ | {begin | exclude | include} expression] Syntax Description count dynamic user ip_address vlan vlan-id | begin | exclude | include expression (Optional) Display the total number of entries for the specified command options instead of the actual entries. (Optional) Display entries learned by IGMP snooping. Optional) Display only the user-configured multicast entries. (Optional) Display characteristics of the multicast group with the specified group IP address. (Optional) Specify a VLAN; the range is 1 to 1001 and 1006 to 4094. (Optional) Display begins with the line that matches the expression. (Optional) Display excludes lines that match the expression. (Optional) Display includes lines that match the specified expression. Expression in the output to use as a reference point. Command Modes Privileged EXEC Command History Release 12.2(20)SE Modification This command was introduced. It replaced the show ip igmp snooping multicast command. Usage Guidelines Use this command to display multicast information or the multicast table. VLAN IDs 1002 to 1005 are reserved for Token Ring and FDDI VLANs and cannot be used in IGMP snooping. Expressions are case sensitive. Use this command to display multicast information or the multicast table.
