clear port-security Chapter 2 Catalyst 3560 Switch Cisco IOS Commands clear port-security Use the clear port-security privileged EXEC command to delete from the MAC address table all secure addresses or all secure addresses of a specific type (configured, dynamic, or sticky) on the switch or on an interface. clear port-security {all | configured | dynamic | sticky} [[address mac-addr | interface interface-id] [vlan {vlan-id | {access | voice}}]] Syntax Description all configured dynamic sticky address mac-addr interface interface-id vlan Delete all secure MAC addresses. Delete configured secure MAC addresses. Delete secure MAC addresses auto-learned by hardware. Delete secure MAC addresses, either auto-learned or configured. (Optional) Delete the specified dynamic secure MAC address. (Optional) Delete all the dynamic secure MAC addresses on the specified physical port or VLAN. (Optional) Delete the specified secure MAC address from the specified VLAN. Enter one of these options after you enter the vlan keyword: • vlan-id-On a trunk port, specify the VLAN ID of the VLAN on which this address should be cleared. • access-On an access port, clear the specified secure MAC address on the access VLAN. • voice-On an access port, clear the specified secure MAC address on the voice VLAN. Note The voice keyword is available only if voice VLAN is configured on a port and if that port is not the access VLAN. Defaults No default is defined.
