show cluster candidates Chapter 2 Catalyst 3560 Switch Cisco IOS Commands show cluster candidates Use the show cluster candidates privileged EXEC command to display a list of candidate switches. show cluster candidates [detail | mac-address H.H.H.] [ | {begin | exclude | include} expression] Syntax Description detail mac-address H.H.H. | begin | exclude | include expression (Optional) Display detailed information for all candidates. (Optional) MAC address of the cluster candidate. (Optional) Display begins with the line that matches the expression. (Optional) Display excludes lines that match the expression. (Optional) Display includes lines that match the specified expression. Expression in the output to use as a reference point. Command Modes User EXEC Command History Release 12.1(19)EA1 Modification This command was introduced. Usage Guidelines This command is available only on the cluster command switch. If the switch is not a cluster command switch, the command displays an empty line at the prompt. The SN in the display means switch member number. If E appears in the SN column, it means that the switch is discovered through extended discovery. If E does not appear in the SN column, it means that the switch member number is the upstream neighbor of the candidate switch. The hop count is the number of devices the candidate is from the cluster command switch. Expressions are case sensitive. For example, if you enter | exclude output, the lines that contain output are not displayed, but the lines that contain Output are displayed.
