Chapter 2 Catalyst 3560 Switch Cisco IOS Commands show mac address-table notification show mac address-table notification Use the show mac address-table notification user EXEC command to display the MAC address notification settings for all interfaces or the specified interface. show mac address-table notification [interface [interface-id]] [ | {begin | exclude | include} expression] Syntax Description interface interface-id | begin | exclude | include expression (Optional) Display information for all interfaces. Valid interfaces include physical ports and port channels. (Optional) Display information for the specified interface. Valid interfaces include physical ports and port channels. (Optional) Display begins with the line that matches the expression. (Optional) Display excludes lines that match the expression. Usage Guidelines Use the show mac address-table notification command without any keywords to display whether the feature is enabled or disabled, the MAC notification interval, the maximum number of entries allowed in the history table, and the history table contents. Use the interface keyword to display the flags for all interfaces. If the interface-id is included, only the flags for that interface appear. Expressions are case sensitive.
