This value excludes the frame header bits. Multicast bytes The total amount of memory (in bytes) used by multicast frames received on an interface, including the FCS value and the incorrectly formed frames. This value excludes the frame header bits. Broadcast bytes The total amount of memory (in bytes) used by broadcast frames received on an interface, including the FCS value and the incorrectly formed frames. This value excludes the frame header bits. Alignment errors The total number of frames received on an interface that have alignment errors. FCS errors The total number of frames received on an interface that have a valid length (in bytes) but do not have the correct FCS values. Oversize frames The number of frames received on an interface that are larger than the maximum allowed frame size. Undersize frames The number of frames received on an interface that are smaller than 64 bytes. Collision fragments The number of collision fragments received on an interface. Minimum size frames The total number of frames that are the minimum frame size. 65 to 127 byte frames The total number of frames that are from 65 to 127 bytes. 128 to 255 byte frames The total number of frames that are from 128 to 255 bytes. 256 to 511 byte frames The total number of frames that are from 256 to 511 bytes. 512 to 1023 byte frames The total number of frames that are from 512 to 1023 bytes. 1024 to 1518 byte frames The total number of frames that are from 1024 to 1518 bytes. Overrun frames The total number of overrun frames received on an interface. Pause frames The number of pause frames received on an interface. Symbol error frames Invalid frames, too large The number of frames received on an interface that have symbol errors. The number of frames received that were larger than maximum allowed MTU2 size (including the FCS bits and excluding the frame header) and that have either an FCS error or an alignment error. Valid frames, too large The number of frames received on an interface that are larger than the maximum allowed frame size. Invalid frames, too small The number of frames received that are smaller than 64 bytes (including the FCS bits and excluding the frame header) and that have either an FCS error or an alignment error. Valid frames, too small The number of frames received on an interface that are smaller than 64 bytes (or 68 bytes for VLAN-tagged frames) and that have valid FCS values. The frame size includes the FCS bits but excludes the frame header bits. Too old frames The number of frames dropped on the ingress port because the packet aged out. Valid oversize frames The number of frames received on an interface that are larger than the maximum allowed frame size and have valid FCS values.
