" When sliding the PF Roller, fully take care so that the coating of the PF Roller is not peeled off by the Lower Driven Roller and by the hook on the left side of the PF Roller Support Lever as seen from the printer front. Refer to Figure 4-127, "Removing the Extension Spring 9.65". 9. After sliding the PF Roller to the top front as viewed from the printer front, lift and remove it from the Left Frame. C A U T IO N " When removing the PF Roller, fully be careful not to scratch the PF Loop Scale. Refer to Figure 4-128, "Removing the PF Roller". " When handling the PF Roller, wear gloves since the paper loading accuracy will decline if you touch its surface directly with bare hands. Refer to Figure 4-128, "Removing the PF Roller".
