Phenomenon-Based Fatal Error Check Points Occurrence Timing Phenomenon Detail Faulty Part/Part Name Check Point Remedy At power-on At power-on, the ASF unit does not operate at all. ASF motor 1. Check that the ASF motor connector cable is connected to CN8 1. Connect the ASF motor connector cable to on the Main board correctly. CN8 on the Main board correctly. At power-on, the ASF unit does not operate at all. Left rear side ASF motor 2. Using a tester, check that the resistance of the ASF motor is 7.0Ω ± 10%. (Across Pins 1 and 3 and across Pins 2 and 4, respectively) 3. Check the ASF motor connector cable for damage. Extension spring 1. Check that the Extension spring 0.618 is mounted between the 0.618 DE lock lever and DE unit. 2. If the resistance value is abnormal, change the ASF motor for a new one. 3. Change the ASF motor for a new one. 1. Install the Extension spring 0.618 between the DE lock lever and DE unit. Extension spring 0.618 DE lock lever 2.
