Be sure that the DNS suffix for this connection field has the correct DNS suffix and that both the Register this connection's addressees in DNS and Use this connection's DNS suffix in DNS registration checkboxes are selected. From within HP SIM, select Options→Protocol Settings→System Protocol Settings. 2. Select the system to configure, and then click Apply. 3. Enter the appropriate WBEM credentials, and then click Run Now. Multiple VPM servers Target systems cannot be scanned and patched by multiple VPM servers. The deployed VPM Patch Agent is set up to respond to only one VPM server. Administrator credentials have been changed If the administrator credentials have been changed for target systems, the WBEM credentials must be reconfigured. To reconfigure Global Protocol Setting, select Options→Protocol Settings→Global Protocol Settings. Uninstalling Vulnerability and Patch Management Use either of the following methods to uninstall Vulnerability and Patch Management. The VPM uninstallation must be performed from the VPM server. VPM scan results can be retained after uninstallation. The last scan performed can be accessed from the VPM column.
