4 RECEIVE MODES ■ Tone /DTCS squelch operation [F-1•Y] [F-2•Z] [F-4•DEF] [TONE] [FM] [EXIT/SET] [MONI] Main dial The tone or DTCS squelch opens only when receiving a signal containing a matching subaudible tone or DTCS code.
