System Log System Log Settings This window is used to display and configure the system's log settings. To view the following window, click System>System Log>System Log Settings, as shown below: Figure 3-11System Log Settings Window The fields that can be configured for Log Stateare described below: Parameter Log State Description Select the enable or disable the system log feature's global state here. Click the Apply button to accept the changes made. The fields that can be configured for Source Interface Settingsare described below: Parameter Source Interface State Type VID Description Select this option to enable or disable the source interface's global state. Select the type of interface that will be used. Options to choose from are Loopback, Mgmt, and VLAN. Enter the interface's VID used here. For loopback interfaces this ID can be from 1 to 8. For the management (Mgmt) interface this value is always 0. For VLAN 16
