Enter the ID for the ACL here. • For a Standard IP ACL, the range from 1 to 1999. • For an Extended IP ACL, the range from 2000 to 3999. • For a Standard IPv6 ACL, the range from 11000 to 12999. • For an Extended IPv6 ACL, the range from 13000 to 14999. • For an ExtendedMAC ACL, the range from 6000 to 7999. • For an ExtendedExpert ACL, the range from 8000 to 9999. ACL Name Enter the name of the ACL here. This name can be up to 32 characters long. Click the Apply button to accept the changes made. Standard IP ACL After selecting a Standard IP ACL and clicking the Add Rule button, the following page will appear. Figure 8-11Standard IP ACL (Add Rule) Window The fields that can be configured are described below: Parameter Sequence No. Action Source Description Enter the sequence number of this ACL rule here. The range is from 1 to 65535. If this value is not specified, the system will automatically generate an ACL rule number for this entry. Select the action that this rule will take here. Options to choose from are Permit and Deny. Select and enter the source information here. Options to choose from are Any, Host, IP, and Wildcard. • When the Any option is selected, any source traffic will be evaluated according to the conditions of this rule. • When the Host option is selected, enter the source host's IP address here. • When the IP option is selected, the Wildcard option will also be available. Enter the group of source IP addresses by using a wildcard bitmap. The bit corresponding to the bit value 1 will be ignored. The bit corresponding to the bit value 0 will be checked. 281
