The device automatically switches between HP postscript level 3 emulation and PCL printer languages depending on the driver you have selected. Using Help The printer driver has Help dialog boxes that can be activated from the Help button in the printer driver, the F1 key on the computer keyboard, or the question mark symbol (?) in the upper-right corner of the printer driver. These Help dialog boxes give detailed information about the specific printer driver. Help for the printer driver is separate from the Help for your program. Software for Macintosh For Mac 9.2.2, the Apple LaserWriter 8 driver must be installed to use the PPD file. Use the Apple LaserWriter 8 driver that came with your Macintosh. For Mac OS 10.2 and 10.3, use Print Center to print. The device includes the following software for Macintosh computers. HP Director HP Director is a software application that is used when working with documents.
