Installing memory (HP Color LaserJet 4610n and 4650 models) and fonts (HP Color LaserJet 4650 models) You can install more memory for the printer, and you can also install a font card so that the printer can print characters for languages such as Chinese or the Cyrillic alphabet. CAUTION Static electricity can damage DIMMs. When handling DIMMs, either wear an antistatic wrist strap, or frequently touch the surface of the DIMM antistatic package and then touch bare metal on the printer. To install DDR memory DIMMs (HP Color LaserJet 4610n and 4650 models) NOTE The back side of the HP CLJ 4650 model is shown in this procedure. The HP CLJ 4610n will appear slightly different, but the procedure for installing DDR memory DIMMs is the same for both models. 1 Turn the printer off. 2 Disconnect all power and interface cables.
