Engine-control system The engine control system is the brain of the HP Color LaserJet 4600 Series printer. It controls all the other systems according to commands from the formatter. The engine control system consists of the following components: ■ DC controller PCA ■ Fuser power supply PCA ■ High-voltage PCA ■ Low-voltage power supply unit ■ Formatter Each of these components is described in this chapter.
