Paper use This product's optional, automatic, duplex feature (two-sided printing, and N-up printing (multiple pages printed on one page) capability can reduce paper usage and the resulting demands on natural resources. Plastics Plastic parts over 25 grams have markings according to international standards that enhance the ability to identify plastics for recycling purposes at the end of the product's life. HP LaserJet printing supplies In many countries/regions, this product's printing supplies (print cartridges, fuser, and transfer unit) can be returned to HP through the HP Printing Supplies Returns and Recycling Program. An easy-touse and free take back program is available in over 48 countries/regions. Multilingual program information and instructions are included in every new HP LaserJet print cartridge and supplies package. HP Printing Supplies Returns and Recycling Program Information Since 1990, the HP Printing Supplies Returns and Recycling Program has collected millions of used LaserJet print cartridges that otherwise might have been discarded in the world's landfills. The HP LaserJet print cartridges and supplies are collected and bulk-shipped to our resource and recovery partners, who disassemble the cartridges.
