Resets submenu To gain access to this menu, touch CONFIGURE DEVICE, and then touch RESETS. Use this menu with caution. You can lose buffered page data or MFP configuration settings when you select these items. Reset the MFP only under the following circumstances: ● You want to restore the MFP default settings. ● Communication between the MFP and computer has been interrupted, and you are not able to resolve the problem by any other method. See Solving network connectivity problems. ● You are having problems with a port. The items in the Resets submenu will clear all memory in the MFP, while pressing the RESET button clears only the current job.
