Figure 4-7 shows how Boot Steps obtains its information from the BIOS, then displays a POST error if necessary. Results of the tests appear on the LCD status panel, one after another, when you press the LCD buttons. Components are tested in sequence when the you press the Next button. When all components have been checked, a diagnostic screen appears. Depending on the result of the diagnostics, the screen could indicate either Diagnostics Done OK or FAIL.
