HP BIOS Overview Power Screen This screen lets you set the Standby Delay and Suspend Delay modes. Standby mode slows down the processor, whereas Suspend mode saves energy. These options are available only with Windows 95 RTM. For other operating systems (for example, Windows 95 SR 2.5, Windows 98, and Windows 2000), use the control panel for similar options. Modem Ring enables or disables the system's ability to return to full speed after an Interrupt Request (IRQ) is generated. Network Interface enables or disables the system's ability to return to full speed after the network interface receives a specific command.
