ProSafe Managed Switch is the group address supported by the RP. The parameter is the group mask for the group address. The optional keyword override indicates that if there is a conflict, the RP configured with this command prevails over the RP learned by BSR. Default Format Mode disabled ip pim rp-address [override] Global Config no ip pim rp-address This command is used to statically remove the RP address for one or more multicast groups. Format Mode no ip pim rp-address [override] Global Config ip pim rp-candidate This command is used to configure the router to advertise itself as a PIM candidate rendezvous point (RP) to the bootstrap router (BSR). Format Mode ip pim rp-candidate interface {interval } Global Config Parameter Description interface-num The IP address associated with this interface type and number is advertised as a candidate RP address. This interface must be enabled with PIM. group-address, group-mask The multicast group address and prefix that are advertised in association with the RP address. interval (Optional) Indicates the RP candidate advertisement interval. The range is from 1 to 16383 seconds. The default is 60 seconds. no ip pim rp-candidate This command is used to disable the router to advertise itself as a PIM candidate rendezvous point (RP) to the bootstrap router (BSR).
