Simplifying the Operation B Make sure that the machine is in facsimile mode and the standby display is shown. Note ❒ If the standby display is not shown, press the {Facsimile} key. C Press the {Program} key. D Make sure that [Register] is select- ed. F Enter the program name, and then press [OK]. The standby display appears. Note ❒ If you make a mistake, press [Back- space] or [Delete All], and then try again. ❒ You should register the program name. ❒ To cancel a program, press [Cancel]. "*Not Stored" is shown. After registering a function in pro- gram No. 1, select [Program No.1] for [Change Initial Mode] on the Facsimile Features menu. See p.145 "General Settings/Adjustment". Note ❒ If you make a mistake, press [Cancel] and select a program number again. ❒ When you change a Keystroke Program, press [Register] after pressing the program number you want to change. If you make a mistake, press [Do not Register] and return to step E. Limitation ❒ Destinations and polling transmission cannot be registered in program No.1 as Keystroke Programs. Note ❒ To store fax documents in the Document Server each time you send a fax, register [Store & Transmit] for Store File in program No.1, and then set the values registered in program No.1 to be used as the initial settings after power on or if the {Clear Modes} key is pressed. 130
