Replacing the rear fan Tips & Tricks You need a Phillips screwdriver to add or replace a rear fan. To replace the rear fan: 1 Remove the side panel by following the instructions in "Removing the side panel" on page 154. 2 Disconnect the fan power cable from the system board. 3 Remove the four screws that secure the rear cooling fan to the case. Screws 4 Remove the fan from the case. 165
